THE STORY
THE COLLABORATION
Designed in collaboration with photographer and model Skye Jones and crafted by master jewellers in Kabul, this ring is inspired by Central Asian equestrian traditions and the longstanding symbolism of horses in Skye's photography and desert upbringing.
Skye's work is inspired by her roots in both the Middle Eastern and Sonoran Deserts, two distant yet deeply connected desert landscapes. The horse unites the two, symbolising the wild spirit of the desert as well as the untamed women in Skye’s life.
SYMBOLISM
The symbolism of the horse carries deep meaning for Skye.
"Horses have always been a central motif in my work. Their strength, freedom, and sense of exploration resonate deeply in my photography. These themes are carried through the stark energy of the desert landscape and the influence of my mother and sister, who serve as my muses.
Through them, I connect the ideas of heritage and the wild spirit of the desert, all reflected in my work and the enduring symbolism of the horse."
